Looking for the best write up possible for installing Ford shock towers. Little concerned on doing this but figure with your help I can get through it.

The write up mentioned above is pretty good but if you want more specifics send me a message. I can tell you where the hole locations and where to cut the towers if need be. If you dont have the towers yet I suggest buying them from offroad design as they have a set of instructions and they come with bolts.

Martin yes saw and read through it but most there on that post have way past the Ford towers on there rigs.
Octane say that in Google search but figured with it's post date there would be more upto date with maybe better angles etc for towers after people had time to play around with them over a few years.:D

When I put mine one, I welded a plate to the tower. That allowed me to space it away from the original shock mounting dent in the frame. So it has less angle in it and the mount has 4 bolts spaced farther apart.

But, like mentioned, the towers eventually go in the trash and you start running hoops.

Easier without A/C... I'm not going that route in Tucson. :D
