forklifts with better tires than mine..

all around town i have been seeing those 18wheelers with pallets of grass on them.. then the forklift on the back has better tires than mine.. i saw one with tsl's and one with hawgs. wth... are these just cheaper than some sort of tractor/implement tire? strange..
