ok, so heres the deal, couldnt figure out why this damned 350 keeps breaking up randomly at half throttle, so i pulled the plugs today looking for any signs, all were nice and clean, right in the happy middle color wise and so on except for cyl#6 and cyl#8, both were loaded up with brownish tan crusty crap and werent firing for crap, cleaned them with a wire brush, regapped, reinstalled, poof, no more breaking up, runs great, this is the second time ive had this problem and still cant find a solution other then cleaning the plugs every 3 months, also when it sits for awhile it puffs oil smoke out of the pass side exhaust pipe, just a quick puff, nothing too bad, im assuming that cyl 6 and 8 have crappy valve seals, letting oil seep in, therefore fouling the plugs on those cylinders? sound about right??? any input?

thats what i thought, figured a second opinion would confirm lol, no idea how hard it is to do the valve seals on these, dont have alot of experience tearing into motors, i work for honda, those damn foriegn motors never really break lol

I had a similar problem yesterday. Had a weird miss/pop so i pulled the plugs and they all lookd A+ except #7 which had a light tan carbon buildup. Wire brush and regapping of all the plugs and no more miss.
