Really?:eek1:..........Pony up the coin, it will be the best 25 bucks you have ever spent. Also you will have access to unlimited money spending threads and ideas:thumb:. Not trying to be an ass, but this is a great site and well worth the 25.

x2. When I first started hanging around here I thought "why would I want to be a member of Colorado K5 when I'm all the way out here on the east coast?" Yet here I am on my 3rd year of paying and haven't given it a second thought. There is so much more info available to members, plus the pics, and a whole lot of decent people to help answer questions. Well worth it if you own one of these old trucks.

I do. I just (well 4 mos ago) bought an 86 m1009 and I'm moving to las vegas. I've never owned a 4x4 truck before (owned a 90 bmw 325ix that actually had a t case) but lifts steering pinion angle and especially diesel truck stuff is foreign to me. My wheelhouse was the SBC muscle cars and mustang cobra's. I guess if I make one friend/third hand, shootin wheelin buddy in LV for $25 it'll be worth it.

As I remember, there is quite a CK5 crew in Vegas...

I scored on a totally rust free M1009 from somewhere with light brown silt but the th400 was an amateur hour rebuild and needs to be dropped and probably rebuilt.
