that looks way cool!! Always planned to build such one, but never had time for it. Tell me more about it! Looks you took a Bruiser/Mountaineer frame and extended it. Are the leaf springs from the Tamiya truck series, or from eht new Ford F350? Tires are from the XB-chassis, Wrangler or Chevy S10 and Hummer wheels. Body you took from Clod Buster, but how did you make the cab? Absolute cool, keep us up to date with your project!! :waytogo: :waytogo:

I bought a '72 Blazer model, some scale 49" Iroks and a monster truck model that I was making into my dream truck. Going to use the axles from the monster truck and I airbrushed the body and frame blue pearl. Unfortunately I ran out of time before my move and it all got packed.

Also scored an 80s model Blazer on ebay and was going to make my truck in scale.

Ahh yeah, sweet work on the crew cab! I will build a scale crawler some day!

its a homemade frame out of 1/2" square tube cut in half and the springs are from the 350. tlt axles and shocks and two clodbuster bodies joined with styrene and alot of work and filler. i seperated the bed from the body and built the backside. tires are bfg mud terrains tippin on 8 bolt hummer wheels. it'll have the k30 treatment with all the lights and emblems. ill post more pics if yall wanna see more.

on the first view the frame looks to be from a bruiser, but yeah, now I noticed the difference. I had the same bfg tires running on my Tamiya Hilux, looked also quite scale. Please keep the story alive, I'm very interesting to see more pictures!! Will it be radio controlled? If so, what gear box will you use? Hilux, Truck series, or from the Ford 350?

well.... i guess. its only a bare frame and a cab right now, its still in progress and will be for a while. 1:1 is getting a new set o axles. heres the pics:

I'm in the middle of building the '75 from post #1. I'll probably finish it this winter...

:D You're as bad as me. I painted part of the interior on #2 a little while back and put it up to dry. Havent touched it since. I am having a hard time picking a paint scheme for the rest of it. Was going to scale my Blazer but decided against it. Thinking 2 tone red and white? Interior is brown.

2tone is good. If I wasn't making mine a clone of my real Blazer I'd go 2tone. But summer weather in Ohio is too nice to be indoors painting a model in my basement...

I built the 84 GMC last winter. it was two kit combined and another kit for the valve covers and aircleaner

Hey Dylan that air cleaner isn't exactly to scale. Might want to try and find a smaller one. :D
