Metrodps, did you cut the top off the model or was it already like that?

The one I built was a Monogram #2238 as seen in this picture.

Blurrrryyyyy pictures.

Like I said I am shaky today. I have health problems due to C.O.P.D. and C.H.F. that make me shaky sorry.

Hell dont apologize, half of the pictures I take come out like that. I been drinkin some Cap and Coke though and those pics did kinda make me feel sick.:D

all is good man no problem. Why I joked about Moses needing his camera. The thing is like ten years old.

I know I am getting me one just for giggles

Old thread, but new to me... I gotta get the top one. It looks EXACTLY like my K5, down to the white spoke wheels.

Too bad they don't sell model '86 front clips... :wink1:

Question for you model people. I heard that 1000 grit sandpaper and wet sanding makes the paint glossier. how do you take out big imperfections in the paint

heavier grit, its a progressive sanding really. spray about 6 coats of clear over a wet sanded few coats of color and sand away. start at 400 then go to 1000. then buff it out.
