I have a blazer camper that I have decided to sell. I got it in trade so I have little information on it. I am also not sure of the value, but was told by the guy that purchased it, that he paid $1200 and had not found one in this good of shape for less than $1500 previously. It of course needs some work and the interior gets put in after the camper is installed. I will get some pics on here today, but the interior is in pieces,( not installed since I got it). I am thinking that I will start at $1000 and see what happens. If anyone could give me some input on this, please post up here or P.M. me.

Thanks,
Dave

I have seen them for sale for a couple hundred to 2 thousand plus. Just depends on there condition. Go to wanderthewest.com and look under the forum for four wheel campers. there is a post for used campers.

There are a couple local ones on CL now. They range in prices but are the truck and camper setup. They might affect your sale some.

There is a 76 with camper for $1500, a 78 and camper for $3000, a 75 and camper for $4000 and an 86 with camper for $4500. I think you should be able to get a good price on yours, depending on what it looks like and how complete it is once that 76 sells. If I was looking at getting one and just found both on craigslist comparing yours for 1k and the 76 for 1500, I would probably fork out the extra 500 bucks and get the complete setup vs just the camper. One could always sell off the 76 or keep the 400 sbc and use the camper.

Lets see some pics of what you have.:waytogo: I still want a chalet someday, but if I had the room I may get desperate and pull the trigger on one of these one of these days. :haha:

I only took these, none of the inside. I got this from a member on here (azblazer) who I found a thread on here where he looked at selling it. He posted a pic of the top up.

I remember that thread! Just had to search for it to jog my memory. This the one?

This one is open through to the back from the cab right? I like that style. I think one or two I saw on craigslist were closed off.

Yes sir, that is the one! Sorry I didn't get it linked. Yes it is open to the back. And just for you I would throw in a '99 NV4500 bellhousing!! Sending you a PM

Btt.... $850 shoot me an offer.........
seems like lots of people looking at azblazer's thread about this thing..

surely someone wants to come get this!!!

So it seals to the back of the cab and lets you walk through? Propane fridge? Furnace? I assume you sleep in the top, but how do you get up there? Any idea if it's water-tight?

EDIT: I think this is the same model - shows some interior shots: http://www.chevyk5blazer.com/forums/showthread.php?3357-My-79-K5&

So basically the camper has no floor - most of the K5 interior is still visible. It must seal where the tailgate would and everywhere the topper would. Is there a platform or something that folds out to extend the upstairs bed? This thing takes up no more space on the trail than a K5 with a roof rack. I assume you can run a bumper with tire carrier behind it. It would be awesome to use a swing-down ("stinger") tire carrier and have it serve as a ramp to the door when it's down.

That is the size of the bed. Sofa also folds down. Four wheel campers also has a extension that slides out to make the bed wider.

It is becoming apparent that I need to put some more effort into showing this to you guys. I am sort of clueless on how it all goes together and am not excited about putting it all in just to take it all apart to remove it. Yes I know that is lazy... I will see what I might come up with to show but we are getting a storm in here today and tomorrow. ( I know,,, another excuse..)

I'm just not seeing how the bed can be any more than about 5' x 3.5'. Do you know the actual dimensions?
