...not pleased with this showing up..... Funny how things work out sometimes...

Snap it up and sell it for a profit. $250 is waaay cheap, but that seller is either under pressure to get rid of it or has no idea of its value. I've surfed across other Craigslist ads where just a standard K5 topper has a price of $250 to 'em.

Meanwhile, the 'eBay bidding culture' is seemingly sending shell-only Chalet #0290 clean paste a grand, where the last highest price I ever saw for an orphaned shell-only was $610.

I know what you are saying that it's cheap, but I already have one to here that I don't want to keep.. So I just e-mailed the guy that was going to work a deal with me on mine to see if he can snatch the deal. It would cost me $150 or more in gas to go get it.

That price on a standard top seems way high to me as I just picked up a top for a buddy off a '90 with factory shoulder belts and tinted sliders for $75.

That's what I thought from various other ones I've run across. I try to do near-daily internet searches for Chalets, which means trying searches for "blazer camper" since some folks have no idea what a Chalet unit is. More often than not the standard top is less then $100, occasionally free to avoid being thrown out or abandoned, but I've seen a few at $250 or so, like this one here http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/pts/3399219513.html .... with a busted window, no less.

why this stuff gotta be so far away, that camper is just what i need/want, in the ad he says he wants a reg topper and a rear seat, i would swap with him so fast it would make his head spin..i am going to find me one of these eventually, i love to go camping on weekends & it would make deer camp alot cooler, it would be like having my own room since we all sleep in a converted old bus when at camp..could 1 of these toppers be shipped without tearing it up?

if either of you were closer and not in the middle of winter I might be taking a road trip. if I had seen this this in spring I would take some time off and taken a trip.

I have a tentative deal on this, but we are on hold as he is out of the country as of now. I am wanting to get more pics of it but have been busy with another project and not anxious to go out in the 10deg cr*p to take some.

We taliked about trade stuff in pm's a while back. I'm open to lots of things and I thought you were looking for stuff. I have a co-worker who most likely will be heading out to Oregon in mid-summer, but I kinda wanted this gone before then. I still look at the crewcabs out that way and think about a long weekend trip.

So the bed measures 77" x 44". floor to ceiling height is 72". counter height is 41.5"
