I spent a lot of time when I was younger going racing events, rock concerts, and all kinds of things. People seem to resent that I mention that I got out in the world and experienced a lot of things in life when I was young.Dude. I was there. We watched the interview and photo shoot.
Your rig could possibly one of the best built square bodies out there. Even better than some of the more well known square body builders on YouTube, MotorTrend, and vendors.

Well thank you, that’s a great compliment.I think I met that guy at BB this year, he was kind of a snob

Yeah, he threw a tire at me a few years ago. Highly suspectI think I met that guy at BB this year, he was kind of a snob![]()
Dang longbeds….Yes, thrown out of spite I’m sure
Your rig is good enough for that Petersons Publishing Great American Outdoor run. Your rig would be right up there with Steve from ORD rig. Steve never seems to be that guy that is fix something that broke on the trail, but is helping someone else that broke.Well thank you, that’s a great compliment.
It’s no D Parsels build, but she is well built, safe and reliable!
I'm curious about the Super Chevy issue. I've got most of them from the mid 80's though the early 00's. The heyday I guess you could call it, lol.As somebody that grew up in the heyday of car/truck magazines it was always a dream to have a car/truck featured in a Magazine. That won't happen now.
Closest I got is my Dad's '57 was in Super Chevy Magazine in the event coverage of the Super Chevy Show at Bandimere. It was just two pics, one of the car and a second of the rare optional dash-mounted rearview mirror he installed very early in his ownership of the car. Our Nomad was featured in the National Nomad Club magazine but it still wasn't a nationally publicated magazine.
I can’t remember if it was 90 or 91. But the show was in August so the coverage would have been later like November or December.I'm curious about the Super Chevy issue. I've got most of them from the mid 80's though the early 00's. The heyday I guess you could call it, lol.
I'll update in a couple of weeks if I've received the refund.
Motortrend

I called and told them that they need not bother sending me any issues of motortrend because it’s not a replacement for four wheeler, they offered me a refund as well, thanks for warming them up for meBack from the dead....
I'm not sure if this has been covered but I just received an issue of Motortrend magazine. Motortrend publishing is sending these as a replacement for the outstanding Four Wheeler issues still owed to subscribers. I called the FW help number I found on the MT site and complained that I wanted a refund for the remainder, the nice lady said I was owed $3 and they didn't give refunds that small. When I further complained that even if it was $1 I wanted what I was owed since they can't provide what I purchased, she then changed her tune and agreed to refund me the entire subscription amount which was about $15.I'll update in a couple of weeks if I've received the refund.
