Don't even go there, that is soooo stupid, do you really think I like lowriders with "big rims" ans just wan't to go and pick up chicks? That is rediculous. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif There you go mouthing off again /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

you need to learn to differentiate between a comment that is clearly in jest (hence the winking smileys and stuff) and "mouthing off" (which would prolly have lots of %*^& words and stuff). big difference, one is a personal attack and the other is just messing around.

He is a member of the Indiana Truck pulling Association. Do you think they just f$%k around and sit in a circle near their trucks and sing coombia?

sounds like the rig would be better placed in some kind of drag racing enthusiast mag or something. I mean really, the mud pit you drove in that you mentioned in your bogger thread would prolly scare that guy away... might snap a light off or something! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif In any case, the pulls Ive seen are all done on a purposefully prepared surface, aka a road. Its not asphault, but its not "off road" IMO either.

I'm sure his truck could drag your ass around if the 2 of you pulled back to back.

nah, I'd just stack up a few rocks about 1' high in front of his rig and he'd be to scared to hit the skinny pedal. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

He uses it everyday as transportation and pulls a 25ft cattle trailer all the time, that is far more impressive to me than beating it and climbing rocks.

doing things with a truck that a stock truck can do is "impressive"? why? Seems like any 1 ton dodge or chevy or ford 2004 truck could do what this guy is doing with his... unmodified, right off the lot. If thats what he uses it for, fine but I still dont see why its in an offroad mag. When my mom goes to SCA events, she takes her chrysler minivan on pretty muddy/watery "roads" that lead to the encampments and she hauls lots of junk around too... who knows, maybe she'll be in fourwheeler someday... /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
[ QUOTE ]
Most people that aren't hardcore 4x4 enthusiasts and people that are just semi interested, have no idea what that offroad only truck is besides a funny looking 4wheeler to them.
[/ QUOTE ]
you said a reason to have a rig like fourwheeler does on the cover was that it would "catch the eye"... i dont care how much a person knows about offroad rigs, the sniper would DEFINITELY catch their eye more just because it is so wacky and extreme. The thing looks like NASA built it to rove around on Mars or something. Not arguing the merits of either vehicle here, just pointing out that the "eye catching arguement" is full 'o' holes.
oh, and to the headlight requirement thing and these lights, I doubt thats the reason they are mounted where they are... this is the lowest 1-ton rig I have ever seen on a set of Boggers. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
