Frame broke AGAIN around the steering box

I rarely do mud, and it never rains or snow around here. Hell Ive had a pile of metal sitting outside for 6 months and its just barely starting to rust. So im not too worried about the rust effect.

Andy, Im going to order a ram this week so I can take the stress of my frame cause I really dont need the frame breaking on me yet.

i would get the bolt in brace and remove the oil cooler , the valves in mines were gummed up and almost ruined my engine when it was near new /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif. i dont think it is worth it .

My engine oil cooler is 2 years old, The engine is 3 years old so Im not going to take it out. I would rather have my engine running on the cool side than risk over heating it, especially when I get the Nitrous installed.

Have you seen any rams besides the redneck ram that work good? I cant buy an AGR one without buying the whole kit and I think the Howe ones are too big for my truck. Im looking for an 1.5" or 1.75" diameter ram with a 5/8" rod.

The redneck ram route is cheaper than a local hydro shop for me.

Makes no sense to buy locally, it's cheaper to spend the $150 from WTO and get his setup. Hoses are cheaper, too.

I can drill the boxes myself. They are very easy to do, and I get deals on Hydraulic hoses through work. Sooo im just looking for a good ram to go with, all the redneck rams I have seen leak, and i hate leaks. Hopefully when I pull the box off I can weld the cracks up and they will stay fixed with the hydro assist till I can get the new frame done.
