Frame prep.rivets to bolts

what size bolts to replace the frame rivets?
How much rustoleum do I need to do the frame(K5),and
axles?
What size are the spring eye bolts. Do I need to use the steel sleeve,or can I use a larger bolt for more strength?

I just ground every rivet except the body mounts on my frame drilled the holes to 7/16 and bolted it back together with grade eight, thick washers and stover style locknuts. I am quite happy with the results. There are some pics a few pages into my build thread at the link in my signature.

I would say four cans should give you one good coat.

I think stock spring hanger bolts are 1/2, upgrades use 9/16.
