Frankenliner build thread. Up for sale.

Make this yoke holder tool and a long bar to hold it to the ground then hit the nut with another breaker bar or impact.

No idea how to show you that. Google Yukon yoke holder tool.

Already made a cardboard pattern for that. Not the first one I will have made. Buy the other one is to small.

Just gun it down all the way with the new nut. It will take all the 1" gun has with a 1/2" air line and you won't ever over tighten one. Obviously make sure your old yoke doesn't have a big groove in it from the seal. Might need a speedy sleeve depending on the style of seal it is.

People sucking continues.

Ordered the 2-3/4 inch, 1 inch drive socket through Amawrong as none of the tool truck dealers could get me one within a week. and theirs were 5x the price.

The one that showed up today is in the correctly labeled bag, but it is an 1-3/8", 3/4 drive socket. Wont get the next incorrect shipment until Friday now. So I guess I will install the transmission hoping I can hold the massive impact wrench over me while on my back.

Took an hour to install the 1/2" air hose and fittings to run the 1" impact. 30 minutes to make the yoke holder. 2 minutes to swap the yoke over. Nothing like efficiency. 1 hour and 32 minutes to do a 2 minute swap. But I will be ready for the next. (never again, I hope)

Mark and Scott are headed here tomorrow to help with the install. After I pick up an excavator in the morning to dig 4 test pits on my property for the new leach field. Doing that Sunday, or Mark might do it Saturday.

there is nothing like waking up a 3/4 or 1" impact with a 1/2" hose feeding it . i get the biggest kick out of guys using them with 3/8" air lines .. . .

best be holding on good with 1/2" hose feed stuff . . .:1zhelp:
