The tag in my truck indicates 3.25 lbs R12....I'm puttin' it in the shop tonite (Jay's Auto Parts in Plano on Parker Rd for my DFW neighbors).....new compressor and R12 evac/recharge.....I couldn't make do with an ftn96 AC......windows ain't big enuff, and can't get enuff skinny pedal to do any good here in Texas.....'round about August, even the rattlesnakes start hitchhikin' to Oregon.....gets hotter 'n a gnats snatch in a wool sock........JD

Stuck?...Hell no..I still got some gas left..

Damn Blue, A simple "boo" would have done.

I don't know all the ins and outs about R-12 vs. R-134A, I just know the new stuff in the new cars and trucks works pretty darn good. I did notice that when they first made the switch, They didn't seem to be as cold, but I think they got it figured out now.

I've never owend anything with a working A/C sys. So I had to make do. Try sitting in a '67 camaro with black vinal seats in trafic, at least I look cool when I'm when I'm in it sweating pools. Thank gawd for wing windows! I'll probably switch it over to R-134A or whatever is the new "hip" thing, Even if its just a slighlty cooler breeze. Anything is better, when butts on black vinal!

If they do make us run propane, I'll take mine with a diesel!

Some thing I heard from a freind is that there is a hole in the Ozone layer, because the Ozone layer created it. The hole is closing! Scientist think now that the Ozone opens and closes it self and that we have not been destroying it as believed in the past. I'm saying this is fact, just what a friend told me.
