Got to swing through the scale yesterday on my way out of town.

Specs just in case somebody wanted to know,

1985 Chevy crew cab dually. 508 cadillac, NV4500, NP261?, 14BFF and Dana 60. 6" lift, 37" goodyear radials on steel wheels.

I weigh in right at 200lbs. Currently no front bumper or front driveshaft.(HP60 swap coming soon.) Approx. 25 gallons of fuel in the tank.

7180 lbs.
-200 (driver)
6980 lbs.
+ 30 (front drive shaft)
+ 145 (front bumper)
7155 lbs.

If I were to figure it with me in the truck plus a full tank of fuel, spare tire and some tools and gear, as if I were heading out on a trip of some sort, I'd put the weight right at 7600 lbs.

thats not too bad considering the size.my 72 with 3/4 ton axles is right at around 4800 pounds.it is pretty much barebones though.i need to put a rollcage back in it which would add a few hundred pounds im guessing.

you at 200 Kert? come on.

I'm hoping to get in under 6K on my crew...doable?

I think I last weighed in under 200 when I was 15.....and don't forget I got no t/c or front axle!

Tcase in my case can't weigh much more than 125 if that. Front axle, around 600 I think I read somewhere. I bet your 2wd suspension in the front weighs in at 200. Lot of steel down there. Cross member is huge.

hmnm ok...diet time then?....
