If the carb has the throttle positioning sensor near the throttle linkagae and the dual capacity accelerator pump on the passenger side of the carb then yes its a big POS and pain in the ass. If it is a standard quadrajet then its okay. Look for those two things. Yes for most purposes especially 4 wheeling the TBI is way better than the carb.
