I have power windows but I wanted 6.5's in my doors so this is what I did. It's basically 2 pieces of 3/4" plywood cut to shape, screwed together, carpeted, and screwed to the door. I made these as shallow as I could, and I had to cut the lower trim panel and the sheetmetal for magnet clearence.I have a Fosgate Punch 45 hooked to the Orion speakers and they get the job done.
