front and rear swap

My 76 did fine on 3.73s and 35"s, as did my open 12 bolt.

I paid $1000 for my tons. Wasn't a great deal, nor was it a bad deal. Pretty average on the west coast from what I've seen. They're a bit more back home though.

CUCVs had detroits in the rear. They're about 300-360 new.

Wasn't on my truck. And 4.10s and 35"s kinda sucks on the highway with no OD (th350).

Do you feel like you need more torque or lower gearing? It's really very subjective to both the truck, the terrain, and type of driving it does. The 14 is worth the effort to upgrade if it's a fullfloat, but in my region I wouldn't pay more than $150 for one tops unless it was pristine.
