So I got under the truck today to find the clunk in my front end when I turn. I found it no problem. Two of the leafs in my packs are shimmying against each other and I guess one of them has a lip on it causing it to catch then release and clunk.

Trucks got a 52in spring swap up front. The shackles do tilt a little when turning but nothing terrible. U bolts are nice and tight. The "fanning" of the leaves is so little that I dont think a spring clamp would do jack **** to be honest.

It seems as though the truck is really gonna need a track bar when the 56s and 7.25" shackles make it upfront... After all my track bar bashing I think its time....

Never had it happen to me... Solution?

Links and coils? :haha:

With longer springs and especially with no clamps holding the pack together, the leaves move around and make noise. Mine do now, and the BDS springs I had before did it too.

A panhard can help but that of course conflicts with the leaf springs to some degree.

I'll just leave it til I put the 56s up front then.

I was getting a Popping noise from the front of my BLazer,,I got the Greaseable Shackle Bolts and HD shackles from Off Road Design and my popping/clunking went away.

Yep I'm ordering the HD shackle hangers from Kurt and some 7.25" shackles that I'm gonna tie together. We'll see where that gets me.
