front fender triming

what he said. Sometimes a piece of painters tape is a handy guide also. Get it right where to you want it, and then make the cut. Slow/careful is the word. Let the 10,000 RPM work its magic.

yeah don't do like that last picture. WEAR GLOVES!! that's just asking for a finger cut off but other than that the best way to say it is:

drive up on something and you can determine exactly how much you want to cut off

Be consious of your speedo cable. If you are concerned about the inner fender just cut a couple slots in it to kind of perforate it, then bend it along that perferation. I ended up having to beat the pinch welded lip of the body over to gain a lil more clearance.

Here what I cut off. Ignore the lil piece missing on the bottom of the fender- just a lil cancer I nipped in the bud. Since these were taken I've cut some more of the inner fender out toward the outter edge of the truck.

It runs behind the inner fender. It's easy to nick it with the grinder cutting that section. You can see it in this pic. No, not the brake line.

I was wearing Crocs, not the best, but what ever:rolleyes:

I just cut the inner fender straight across, all the was to the frame.

I was able to cut the fender back to the firewall braces and still use the inner wells, u just have to cut a relief in them and bend them back. I did cut half of the lower fender support bracket away and then I used 22 gage steel and made new lips on the fenders.
