Front Inner wheel wells?

I got a buddy with a 79 k10, his front inner wheel wells are rotted out. I have two brand new inners from my 89 k-5 I will sell him. Will these work on his 79?

LMC lists different part numbers for the 73-80 and 81+, so I'm gonna say no, they don't go. Unless your buddy installs an entire 81+ clip
