I'm looking to get a more progressive spring and wondering how it may ride with only the fronts?
I'm thinking about buying ORD Front springs to replace my 2" TC
My rears are TC 3" with Bilstein 5125
I s anybody running this set up, Or is this a bad idea must I replace front and rear?:dunno:
I have 5125 Bilsteins.
Thanks

I don't think that there is a reason to avoid upgrading the front springs.
My experience with Tuff country was shocking when I bought the ORD springs.
I suggest that you call ORD and discuss your truck and what you want out of it.

I just did the ORD custom springs on mine. Well worth the investment. The ride is unbelievably awesome. Can’t wait to flex it.

The best (non-link) setup would be custom leaves front and rear, for ride quality and ease of install. Especially if the truck will stay at this height and doesn't have any driveline vibrations now, the tension shackle (stock) setup is a good one. Still have the stock rear 52's? You could consider a 2" shackle flip as a cheap alternative to custom leaf rears. You can get new 52's or Ford springs pretty cheap, but the shackle flip would be a lot more work and put the price closer to custom rears (which would be a bolt-in). If the truck will go higher someday you might as well shackle flip now and start preparing for a C/V rear drive shaft (shackle flip changes the pinion angle). Most "lift kit" springs will be a lot stiffer than the stock-type and a lot stiffer than ORD springs. Your TC stuff looks so nice I'm sure you could recoup some cost.

But it's not like you couldn't do just the front, try it out and decide later if you want to do the rear.
