I typically like the look of front recovery hooks, although I can't remember seeing these on any square bodies from the past. Does anyone have these on their trucks?
I've seen pictures with squares that have aftermarket shackles which look cool as well.
I won't be needing them, just thinking the oem ones might look good. Post a pic if you have them.
Thanks

They are notoriously weak and bend - not the best design…

I guess that's why I've never seen them.
Those brackets from Engineered Vintage look good I wish they had them for my 73.

Just ordered some for my 74 Jimmy :waytogo:

That may be why I've never noticed them. They're setback and blend in with the suspension. Awesome truck BTW!

I have the engineered vintage shackle mounts and they are amazing!

Saving up for their Behind bumper winch mount.

There's a heavy duty version of the weak 81-91 hooks out there. Some of you guys may already have them and not know it.

Found a post I made on these HD hooks.....

Cool info !

Every K-5 & K-10 that I have owned has had the front hooks as an option ( never took notice of the H.D. versions though ) but the K-20 and both K-30’s that I’ve had did not come with them… Ya would think they’d be standard equipment on any 4x4.
