Alright I have read and searched and have come up with great info, but. I have 2" lift 52s to put in the front. Do I want to move the front hanger forward of the body mount? Can I make that work and have a decent shackle angle without to much headache? I know that the b52 kit is better because you have the adjustability of different front spring positions. Confused!!!
I guess what I want someone to tell me is move the spring hanger here your shackle mount here with a certain length shackle and thats it.

If you move both front spring hangers like the writeup here a 7.25" shackle will probably work well for you (that's what most people with 52's do).

Yeah I have read over that article a couple times. Just wasn't sure if that was going to work out right with lifted 52s. I assume I would need to move the shackle mount forward as well with the springs I am using? Why would you buy the b52 kit if it works out as easy as that? Seems like a lot of trial and error. Just was hoping alot of others errors would save me some trials!! Thanks!!!

and if you use the b52 kit and 56'' springs, from what i've been told ..you don't have to move your shackle mount on the frame!

If you move the front spring mount you don't have to move the rear mount with 56's (the extra 4" spring length gives a good shackle angle).

The B52's allow you to make smaller changes in axle position by simply changing bolt holes based on the wheelbase and shackle angle you want.

Moving the front spring mount in front of the body mount and moving the rear spring mount forward while using a 7.25" shackle (as described in the aforementioned writeup) is tried and true.

So will the 2" lift 52's mount in the same position as the stock 52s as far as the shackle mount is concerned. Is there a certain end of the spring pack that needs to go towards the front of the truck, as in one side longer than the other from the spring pin. What amount can I move the front axle forward and still use the ord crossover kit. I've read anything from no more than two inches to 5-6", don't want to move the steering box. Thanks for the info!!! Keep it coming....

They will probably be pretty close.

52's are equal lengths on either side of the center pin so it doesn't matter which end goes forward.

It depends on how much lift you have.

You can move the front axle forward 2" no matter how much lift you are running (mine's about stock height with the front axle forward 2" and the u-bolt and pitman arm are close but they don't make contact).

If you cut the u-bolt short you could probably move the front axle further forward if you have a 4" lift or more.
