Char was cold to the bone and wanted to go home so we loaded up after the raffle.

I was thinking about he turning issue i was having .. could it be that i was locked on my front diff? Kinda chewing around the turns instead of rolling? I noticed you were both using open front diffs.
tuttle creek is a bout 2.5 hours for me up to salina then over .

Mike didn't you say your front locker was selectable? Next time just unlock it until you need it.

Yeah we all should go. My buddies I wheel with around here and I are planning on going down to Seymour MO to the offroad park there sometime soon (when I get my stuff fixed). That would be a long trip for you guys though. I think Tuttle is having an event there in may. Thats when we were planning on going but I don't know if I can wait that long. I'll keep you guys posted on what we do.

Well let me know when you plan on going and I will ask my buddy and my wife and I will see. It is a 4.5 hour drive for us. We might have to stay the night in Springfield.

this guy looks like the tree huggerlooks like he turned way to soon into that tree....looks like you had alot of fun, i love wheeling in the snow..to bad we only get any kind of real accumilation every 10 yrs, if then..and then it only stays around for 3-4 days and then its melted away.

off topic, well its snow related, i'll make it quick...i was watching hgtv other day and some pro golfer has built a home in colorado, well above the snow line, it stays deep snow at this home year around, only way to this MANSION is by snow cat(i think thats what they are called...they're on tracks w/a plow, ussually red) how i would love that, he has huge diesel tanks, runnin huge generators, house has all amentities,..home theater..the works,..iirc he has a 2 or 3 lane bowling alley, racket ball, indoor pool, basketball, tennis, all inside,..its insane, i love it! i guess he has a sattelite phone, he can call in and have supplies dropped in by helocopter...wish i had that kind of cash, that is so how i would live, those snowy mountain pics made me think about it, sorry hijack off!

He actually made it all the way up to the closer tree in the pic and then lost it. He ended up slidding back and getting hung up on that tree. He sat there for a while waiting for his buddy to come over and winch him up the hill.

aaaa...he slid down into that position, that makes sense now, i was wondering how come he had turned into that tree...do you not have any pics of the big water hole you drove thru?

No thats the first thing I said when we left is "Damn I should have got a picture of that water hole" It was probably 3.5'-4' Deep and about 30' long. Full of water too!
