Nice!

I can see now where the 90 would be needed and they probably ran into it being tightened and pointing down! Then a guy may over tighten to get it pointing to side and ruin the part/seal/TBI unit. :doah:

You cannot get more than around 14-15psi with the stock spring and fuel pump.

He's right, the TPI fuel systems ran at 44 psi stock, the TBI pumps were only designed for something like 11 to 15 psi... So if our using a TBI pump you will likely only ever get 14 to 15 psi max. So yes, the difference is in the pumps.

That is a pretty cool link! I've seen other "rigged" homemade versions, but this one actually looks logical. Too bad I already bought my AFPR...

Curious on whether you got the gauge installed and fixed your fuel pressure regulator for adjustable? If so, have you made any adjustments and noticed any difference?

I just got my adapter, adjustable fpr, and gauge from r.v. morise and will get it installed this weekend.

I also bought the salad bowl and spacers from cfm. They should be here tomorrow.

Not sure about a cam though....we'll see when spring gets here.

adaptor for gauge port took some tweeking to install. helped that i had tbi spacer installed.

checked my base psi and key on / engine off got 11.5 psi.

need to make adjustable yet and also make gauge mount in dash panel also.

havent even fired / drove truck since xmas day when i installed the adaptor.
