fuel pump help!!

ok im bout to replace my fuel pump in my k10 stepside 1987. im just curious as to how the tank comes down. do the straps lower im a little confused. anyone? i need to do this today because i need it for daily driving so any help is good help

There will be two straps on each tank, but you can remove the whole tank with straps by taking out the 8 bolts (4 around each strap) from the inside of the frame. Be careful, all the hoses and wires are above the tank, so lower it down just enough to disconnect everything before you lower it the rest of the way.

If you leave the straps tight the tank should just go right back up in.
