I replaced my fuel pump today, but It seems the outlet for the carb is way off to where my classic industries pre bent pump to carb line matches up. I had to bend this line to get it to match my old fuel pump. Now it seems on the warranty replacement pump the outlet side is in a different position.

I don't know what to do I'm fed up with this... I know this is ghetto and not my style but can I just cut the line and slip fuel hose over the metal line with hose clamps? I seriously doubt the pump can be repositioned to accept my line.

yes. are you just going to use a short piece of hose or go the all the way to the carb?

Would be about 3 inches max of rubber hose the rest would be the steel line.

Also if anyone else has any suggestions please let me know!

There are actually many different fuel pumps with different configurations of the location of the feed line going to the carb and also a choice of pumps with a return feed back to the tank as well.
