I have a '99 454/7.4 in a K5 Blazer. It has run on ether with good oil press, etc. So all the wiring to make it run for a short time is good. Now to make it where it will run more than 15 seconds, I need the following info:

I understand from searching that I need a relay for the in-tank fuel pump to work. I also understand the wiring is orange - batt pwr, tan to pump, green - 12v from computer & black grd.

What I need help with is two items (actually I need a lot more help than that but that's another story :haha:)

1) Please tell me where to get the 12v from the computer? wire color/location - as much info. as you can provide.
2) Can I just hook the tan to the wire going back to the pump from under the hood or do I have to run a separate wire back to the pump wiring by the tank?

Please keep it simple for a dummy!

Thanks!

Anyone? I would like to get this running on it's own but I would like a little knowledge instead of me guessing.

Maybe this should go in the injections section? Please advise.
