So I am picking up the majority of the parts I need to swap my 73 over to fuel injection.

One of the major parts that I am not getting is the fuel pump. I have been doing lots of research online and running an external pump, while easier, just doesn't seem like the best thing to do. I would really like to find a way to run an in-tank pump if at all possible.

Does anyone know if a tank from a late model TBI blazer will swap with the tank in my 73? If it does, I could swap the pump out to a higher pressure one and just worry about running the lines.

If not, has anyone done a retrofit on a 73 tank to run an in-tank pump?

tank for 87-91 k5 should fit if you got the correct gal size.

then plump send line 3/8 and return 5/16 and vent 1/4

also use hp efi rated hose for conections were hose is needed. and dont forget inline filter on send line and rated for efi pressure.

then sending unit for same 87-91 tbi setup and match to gal size tank. and can find new with no pump if you look.

and run a pump for a camero or firebird type vehicle should swap right on.

otherwise whould be bolt in job.

AWESOME! I had a feeling that would work and will make the swap significantly easier!

Thanks K30.

:waytogo:

and if you got small tank now and want big just get the big stuff and straps to match and bolt the extra 5-6 gal capacity tank in there.
