can you put a 31 gallon fuel tank in a '81 K5. Any modifications necessary?
 
You can do it easily, in fact it was a factory option for many years. I think the only thing you would need, besides the tank, is new straps and an new fuel pump/sending unit to fit the larger tank.

Whats wrong with big and wide?
