Ok so I’m trying to collect parts for my build to go full hydro steer . I noticed a lot of the cylinders that are sold are either 10 or 8 “ stroke what stroke is suggested with a dana60 gm ? What are you guys useing as far as orbital valves ? Steer ratio ? Fitting size and so on any help would be appreciated I know I can buy a psc kit but I think I can piece one together way cheaper .

For stroke length, it depends on how you're attaching the cylinder to the knuckles and how you have the steering stops set.

The displacement of the steering control (orbital) valve depends on the cylinder size and how many turns you want lock to lock.

Seems like it’s 10 or 8 “ stroke is the norm seems like 8” is most common.

More to it than that, like I said, lever arms (in how it attaches to the knuckle) and how sharp you have the steering stops factor in. Mine is almost 9" but again, just one factor.

So load reaction on non load reaction / open center ?
