The local upholestry shop was going to make me one for my '73, but I bought a STC top instead. Ask the local cutom car guys who's the best and I bet he can make ya one.
My wife made mine. It's not a full top ('85 K5) but I still needed the sun off the kids...and my neck. We found some military surplus canvas at a surplus store and bought a bunch of snaps & grommets. A local upholstery guy sewed the straps on for me and overstitched the velcro that my wife put on. That stuff is tuff on a standard home sewing machine, so I wouldn't recommend trying to do it at home. I still need some straps for the back to keep it tight, but it works alright. Only cost a total of $70.
None yet. We've been having a lot of thefts from vehicles around here lately and I have two unsecured speakers in the back so I haven't even taken the top off yet. I'll post one after I open her up.
