Any of you use or used a Fumoto Oil Drain Valve?
Sorry about your luck, but that is one of many reasons why I don’t let anyone work on my stuff. Thanks! Because I was sick and didnt feel like changing the oil, I took the Honda to Express Oil change.
They stripped the pan threads and said they were that way when I came in.
I have ordered a Time Sert set and thought I would try the Fumoto valve going forward.
Thats what ive heard...there is no reason an impact wrench should ever be used on any drain plug....period.They had the impact on tighten when they tried to remove the plug. "IT WONT TURN BOSS."
Every O'Reilly I have been to takes it. I use it for heat. The worst thing is you go in for an oil change and end up with ruined engine. At least with the Fumoto I can direct the oil into a container and have less mess to cleanup. The oil filter is still messy unless somebody has a trick. Also, none of the auto parts stores recycle oil, so getting rid of it is troublesome.
Walnarts takes used oil. Hell just leave it at their doorstep. F em.The worst thing is you go in for an oil change and end up with ruined engine. I poke a hole in the bottom of mine and let it drain. Easy peasy! The worst thing is you go in for an oil change and end up with ruined engine. You can also press a plastic cup under the filter while you turn it loose. These are awesome.
