I've got a Fumoto drain on my Tundra and my wife's 4Runner and I do like them. I like that I can direct the oil right into the container I take to the local parts store for recycling. When I use a drain pan, I usually end up making a mess getting it into the drain pain and also when I transfer the oil from the drain pan to another container. Fumoto does offer higher flow versions of the valves. My wife's rig has the higher flow version and I do notice that it seems to drain a little more quickly. With the Fumoto, you can actually drain the oil hot (without burning the crap out of yourself) so that does help it drain a little more quickly.
One upside of the stupid oil filter cartridges that Toyota has on their engines is that I can pre-drain the oil in the filter housing before removing the filter and save a huge amount of mess. If I didn't have to drop the skid plates on either of the vehicles, I could probably do the oil change in about 10 minutes without making a mess.
