Ok, I will get that ACDelco 25521268 part from rockauto then.
Also, I have squeaky belts that I want to replace. But there's 3 of them and I don't know part numbers. Would you know what kind of belts are they?

Standard v-belts. Your local part store should be able to get them by application, but the safest bet would be to pull them and have them measure them and match them that way.
I did put a new one in but might be lower quality. Ebay.
It was fine until I got the truck back from the shop.
Now I am thinking maybe the pan gasket might have been fine.
If you get the new tv cable I can swing by and help you with it, it's tricky not hard so if you have done it before it is easier

The new TV cable (ACDelco 25521268) should arrive tomorrow. I will try to change it myself. How do I keep the hook that's inside the transmission so it doesn't retract back? Also, if I lose that hook - can I still retrieve it without dropping the pan?
That hook will not drop.
The tricky part is to have the cable at the right angle and the plastic tube hanging loose at the right angle.
A second person holding it from the engine bay will help a lot.
Once you have the cable end through the hook the person from the top should gently pull the cable inside the tube until the base is at the hole in the transmission and the cable is still snug so it doesn't come off the hook.
Then carefully make sure the rubber grommet is in the hole all around and the base is lined up right.
I have ruined one before by having it at an angle and ruined it. At that point just push it in and put the bolt. Then you can go up and hook up the top part.

TV cable + the rubber seal arrived. Everybody says that TV cable is adjustable but mine doesn't seem like it is. Unless there's some trick to get it to extend.
It's adjustable. That big "D" shaped button on the side of the housing is how you adjust it.

Here's the old TV cable. No idea how it got bent but it looks and feels sturdy. The base is definitely bent.

This is the new TV cable in. Now I need to:
- top up ATF
- adjust the new TV cable
Regarding ATF - can I use any DEX III compatible ATF (even if existing one was different brand?). I have some Valvoline DEX III available. Also, do I pour it through transmission dipstick tube?

Yes, normal ATF unless something special is in there. Different brands are compatible. Down the dipstick tube.
Those cooler lines are close to the exhaust eh? Might think about some heat sleeves so you're not cooking the ATF in/out of the trans.
I didn't notice that, how close is it really.
It looks like a couple of inches which will be fine but if it's less than an inch away it needs to move
And as for the atf, I just have the napa brand mercon dex3 5 gallon bucket, says heavy duty but all dex3 are compatible.
Matter of opinion perhaps but that would be wrapped if it was my truck.
Oh if it was my truck and I had the time I would wrap it but I also would route things differently.
The reason I bought it was that it had almost everything done and the price was less than it would have cost me.
But looking at how it was done, I could do better and to make this one the way I want it it would cost me more than starting from scratch.
And I really need a suburban so I sold it.
It will cost me everything I got from this sale and a couple of other vehicles I am selling but I should end up with what I want, how I want it.

Hey CK5ers I need your help on few things:
- Do you have Blazer K5 manual? I don't have one and I think at this point I need one
- I don't have a grease gun and I want to purchase one; any recommendations or suggestions?
- Is there a list of all places I need to grease as a part of 5000 miles maintenance? I don't want to forget about something

Ebay for a manual, grease gun at home depot works good, get a tube of grease.
