i tore up the carpet and sound deadener in my K10

That was the first mod I did. Haven't quite gotten to the bedliner part though.

That stuff shouldn't be called carpet, it should be called rust accelerator.

Keep them coming...

I saw one guy (shane from washington state) used a few mountain dew cans to stop water from splashing into his intake filter.

He cut the top and bottom off and sliced teh can down teh middle so it would lay flat... had a nice piece of aluminum about 4 inches high by 6 inches long...
He took a few of them and put them inbetween teh top and bottom pieces of his air cleaner so when he hit water hard the spray wouldnt go right into his air cleaner...

Worked good... he never killed his motor from water!


I dont know that it's a mod but what about cookign burrito's or hot pockets on your intake manifold?

jsut to give you a head up i did this, plus tore out the insulation on my firewall....no need for a heater hardly...lol it gets hot in the cab fast...just giving a heads up

transmission temperature gauge and transmission cooler since big tires put a strain on it and you can always check vitals. i like to have a few gauges to show the vitals like i said.

Best way to put in a Trany guage?
