Funniest thing ive ever read Sami vs K5

samis and toyaotas are very capable off road.read my sig.i wheel with a sami on 34s and one on 36s.they have had little problems.the good thing about a sami and a yota is you can build 2 for the price of one k5.i looked at going this route at one time and i just cant wheel without a v8.i like the skinny pedal to much.not as into crawling

While I love my old K5, my BOV will be my Nissan, since it is trail tested and I haven't killed it, much less seriously broken it. My '69 probably would not last long out in the bush, although it would be fixable without all the electronic crap on my Frontier.

If you get that engine turning fast enough, and it won't need glow plugs at all. Besides, I rarely use my glow plugs in temps warmer than 40F, fires right up without them.
