funny 400 kick down thing

i am use to 400 trannys kick down at the gas pedel bracket. today i looked at my new truck. 88 crewcab k30 350tbi and 400/205. there was no switch. so i guess it must be run off the ecm now on the tbi motor trucks. just was thinking it was funny . carry on now.

Hmm, never checked the crew. Just a little tease, found another 4wd crew cab dually with a 454 and auto. Been sitting in the same spot for at least 4 years. Windows are busted out, been backed into and hit bunch of times. Gonna find out who the owner is and see what he wants for it.

It does kick down like it should huh?

Guess there is no reason GM couldn't control kickdown with the ECM, weren't that many applications that late that had a TH400, so makes sense I'd never heard of it I guess. Interesting!
