There are emulators where you can actually change stuff while the vehicle is driving. The only downsides are you need a friend to drive and its expensive.

you can do it by yourself...

datalog, park it, modify, and repeat until its tuned.

I meant the switch bill sells. You can change between 6 saved maps while your driving with the turn of a nob.

Nice article

If I had the money to throw around I would definatly upgrade, but right now I really like the 29C256 Chips, it takes me 25 seconds to program a new chip and about 5 seconds to reinstall it in the PCM. Although I am in a car and the PCM is just on the pass floor board, may take some articulation to get to the other side of a full size chevys pass floor board. The only PITA I experience is using the stupid touch pad on the laptop when editing stuff, takes forever to get across the screen :p:

that is awesome to be able to do that change on the fly i love that idea but how expensive is it to get all the stuff to do it?

Its $275 for the prominator and you'll need a laptop... ebay has em for 100 bucks.

You also have to download winaldl and tunerpro rt to datalog and edit the maps/bins but both are free.
