Garage reformat

i think this is the one i saw:

Unless you specifically target and cater to the high end crowd (i.e., rich guys), i don't think this could be profitable. Unless you already own the land and large building outright---but if so why would you mess around with such small income. i would concentrate on bringing in large businesses as tenants.

2) If i had that much damn money to rent such a spot, i would just build my own damn garage for myself.

3) Another possibility might be to get a bunch of guys together to go in on a spot, but that is improbable because getting even two people to agree on something is not likely.

IF, you owned the land outright, or could get a very low monthly lease AND could put up a building such as this:

Then, it might work numbers-wise. The average space for each person might be 20' X 30'. If they want more, then there's an extra charge. The electricity probably wouldn't be that much; They might need a little more juice to run a compressor, but that shouldn't be too much more? If you have septic, then great. If not, community porta-johns. It would be nice to have running water. i haven't figured that out clearly yet.

Also, the ceiling does not need to be that high.

i haven't figured out how to heat/cool the place, so that might be a problem.....

ive gotta clean mine out as well.. had the kids pickup their stuff or it was going in the trash. they did a great job; however, so much to be put away...

one thing I have started doing is buy what I need and throw the rest out. my wife hates this..
best example..

wife needs something hung up and I need 4 screws. go to store and a pack has 6.. cool.. if I break or loose 1 or 2 I'm good. and this costs $1.25... but next to it is a tub of 5 gazillion for $2.50... well hell for only double the price I get more...so you know which I used to buy. Go home, hang up what needed to be hung up and only used 4. the 6 pack would of worked but now I have a barrel that I will never use. keep doing that and see how it stacks up..

now I buy the 6 pack... use the 4 and throw the other 2 out... wife wants me to put them in bins and I'm like.. NOPE {chucks in trash}

Yah I need more space, and I need to shuffle things around. Can’t get to some of my tools without crawling under the k5
