Gas cans

I have both and found that they BOTH suck. The only way to go is the metal military type cans......of course they are like 3 times the amount :doah:

The others leak and vent like a MOFO!

Yes they still leak.....if you don't fill them too high and allow for expansion and trail sloshing they do good. The metal jerry cans seal awesome and don't leak in my experience ;)

You are talking about the newer NATO style cans correct (the poor spout is justified to the right side). The older ones and the more common "jeep cans" leak like hell, rattle, and rust.

I agree, both of those Blitz cans SUCK big time !!!! The new plastic military cans are the way to go. The only problem is here is this fuked up state of Ca you can't get thim localy because CARB requires the anti-spill can's which really suck and don't work worth a damn..

My Dad has the metal cans, with new seals in the cap. We take them on our camping trips to use for his quads.....his are older and don't leak. Maybe it's the seals

This is the type to go with. 5 Gallon GI type can.

ya but without that stupid pour spout. It wont fit in any newer style gas fill hole on cars or trucks.
plus its just stupid anyway

It was the only picture I could find. The steel flex hose kind are the best.

I just want a good 5 gal gas can that will not leak or spill if tipped over. I had the Blits self-venting and when it tipped gas got over all my stuff. There has got to be a gas can that keeps the gas self contained.

Would that be these NATO cans then?

Reading more about these cans it states that it can be stored on its side. This seams like the best can only that it is 38 bucks

Thanks.. have you ordered from them. Since the cans are used are they any good or just junk?

I haven't ordered any fuel cans from them but they do stand behind there products. They state that the can's that they sell are in good condition. They also sell the rubber seals for the cans so I guess you really can't go wrong. For the price of a new can you could buy 2 to 3 of there NATO cans along with the seals and still be ahead.

Dan..
