$2.88 here
That's what pisses me off the most... diesel is a product of the gasoline refining procedure, and can be gotten by itself with less refining than gasoline, so why is it more expensive?
yep, 3.49 for 87, 3.59 for 89, 3.69 for 91. Its never going down in price, face it guys.its about 3.59 in santa barbara california![]()
No...thank YOU!Its free over here.... oh wait, you guys are paying for all of it... thank you

I'm happy knowing some of my money pays for that gas. I'd rather pay for you gas then pay for myself a way to work. Thank YOU!!Its free over here.... oh wait, you guys are paying for all of it... thank you

but the other reason it costs more is 'cause china and other developing countries have a serious need for it, and are buying up every damn drop they can get.. that's a byproduct of " free trade" unfortunately.. when countries industrialize in order to make stuff, they become consumers of fuel..that starts a ripple effect, creating more demand on a supply that's affected by the suppliers ability to process the product, and thus may or may not meet the demand. shortages = higher prices.
I think the point was that they are paying almost $8/gallon, likely with less discretionary income than we have. If I roughly calculate it, would run about $800/month for me to drive my truck. I think that would put a serious crimp in most of our budgets. That's probably more than many pay for renting an apartment.
Mass transit becomes a much more popular option at that cost.![]()

Crap. You're close to me. I don't even want to see the gas prices on the way home...
