I have a few Q's for my next project, hopefully you guys have some answers. I'll post them separately to ease the confusion.

I'm going to drop my tank and finally fix the sender (or replace) so the the gauge works again. I figure the bolts will likely snap and I'll be cutting off the old straps and replacing with new. I went to order today to find out that there were two sizes of tanks for the Blazer. How would I go about IDing which I have?

Thanks again

Easy answer is do you have a fuel tank skidplate?

If you do, small tank has a large gap between it and the plate. 31 gallon has essentially no gap.

If you've got a plate, I'd wait to order parts (if doing so online) as rust tends to weaken the bottom of the 31 gallon tanks, and they can spring a leak when you disturb them.

Long answer, is search for a post with "tank dimensions" or something along those lines.

Haha :D figures, I don't have a skidplate! Oh well. I guess I'll measure the straps next time I'm at the garage. That'll waste a week or so what with the holiday. Oh well!

Which reminds me, I'm in the market for a skidplate! Anyone, anyone?
