heres the idea
cut a 117 litre tank in half length wise and take a 1 1/2 to 2 inch strip out of it and weld it back together to make it shorter and tuck up into the frame rails
has anyone tried this?
hows it working?

welding on a gas tank ... mmm, fun.

I'd think that just finding a small tank out of an S-10 truck or something at the junkyard would be muuuuch easier.
