1/2 ton status
Besides the obvious way of completly draining the gas tank and refilling it , how can I tell if I have a 25 gallon tank or 31 gallon tank? The LMC catalog gives two measurements , length and width are the same for both , but the 25 gal is 10 3/4 high and the 31 gal is 12 3/4 high. my ? is , is this measurement from the raised area where the sending unit mounts to the tank to the bottom of the tank? it is an 83 K5 , originally a 6.2 diesel if that helps any , thanks
