I have my 2wd sector shaft to swap in and I imagine that the gasket will be killed in the process. So, do you think I could just make my own out of gasket material ? What is the top temperature of power steering fluid ? Get it from the dealer ?
I don't plan on getting a full rebuild kit for it, I do have the lower seal already though.

I just put mine on and tightened it up, no leaks thus far.

Well, I lied. It leaked once because I forgot to tighten to bolts. Didn't notice the leak until the entire weekend of wheelin' was over. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif
