hey, i just replace the gas tank & sending unit in my 75 k5 blazer but the fuel gauge still isnt working .......... anyone out ther have any experiance with that ???????

also the temp gauge is out as well??????:dunno::dunno:

disconnect the sender wire back by the tank, jumper it to a known good grd, turn the key on, the gauge should peg.. if not, it's up at the gauge, either no power to it, bad grd for the circuit board, bad gauge, etc...

oh, and, that font absolutely sucks to read dude.. just use the default font...

As for the temp gauge, betcha the green wire has fallen off the sender on the engine block.

And that's two violations of the Font Police Act... :)

seems as though on mine (77) there was one wire that had to be a pos feed to get power to both the temp and fuel gauges...

and yeah that font sucks balls..:haha::haha::haha:

Lol... Aite try not to violate again.. Ha... But naw.... I checked the wire as well ... & I replaced the temp sensor ...

my bet's that power feed to the cluster or possibly a fubared circuit strip on the back of the cluster..... or, the gauge itself... been awhile since I played with a stock setup, don't remember how that circuit is protected fuse-wise...

Yea .. I was just talking to my neibor & he's thinkin' there's some kind of short or problem with the ground.... Another problem with this truck.... I'm gonna have to replace the intire wire harness......
