gay flex

Ya that doesnt at all look right being twisted like that. You would expect the body to prevent that if it was bolted right.Beautiful truck!
It appears that you might have body mount issues at the rad support though. might be worth having a closer look.

Are quick disconects avalable for the Blazer/jimmy?A friend of mine has some on a Jeep but he had links originaly like a car.Man what at you doin to me? Beautiful jimmy as always!! I would consider losing the sway bar or putting on disconnects. When I removed mine, it rode tons better, and flexes like crazy. I drive mine almost always on the road too. I Don't regret it.

Was wondering how to make that possable. Those look like the solution but seem pricy for what they are. Also the area where the pins go through will wear out and shorten there life span to where they will need to be replaced every so often. Those rear shackle flip fit are expencive also.Maybe there is no compatition right now thats why the prices are so high?Fabrication is sort of a side hobby of mine and cant see the justification for those prices seeing how simple there designs are.Gives me a reason to take a trip to my local steel yard for some scrap pieces to work with.Im thinking about $30 is what it will cost me when I take into concideration the pins and bolt that will be needed as well. Thanks for the info.

I have more tools then I know what to do with. Some hardly get used.Sometimes I forget not everybody does though. It all depends on what your time is worth and what tools you have to work with....
If you have a welder, steel, and time to spend it's easy to make them cheap.
The more of those items you lack....the cheaper the off-the-shelf parts appear to get.

10k doesnt come close my tool box almost cost that but they were aquired over a 27 year span and I made a good living with them. They paid for themselves a long time ago.LOL!..... with $10,000 in shop tools I can build a shackleflip for free!
If you think about it, the more tools and capabilities you have the more you should feel OBLIGATED to build your own parts to help justify all the money you spend on shop equipment.

Do you have any problems with rubbing up front when flexing?
