I am big into amsoil but I understand the cost there.
Do you have gear breakin to do in the difs? If you do go to walmart and get there brand of gear oil and run it for 500+ miles. Then switch to a good synthetic.
I would just look on the net and find a decent price.

I buy the Walmart gear oil in 5 gallon buckets, it's not even cheap there.
We have a pretty cool recycling system on base here. Oil/paint/hazmat that is expired or a unit needs to get rid of, they turn in. Other units can come grab what they need. Use it all the time for spray paint, PB blaster, 15W-40(5 gal cans), gear oil (5 gal cans).
